Following the success of last year’s ISAPS Symposium, ASAPS has once again partnered with ISAPS to convene the third ISAPS Symposium on October 19th 2017, the day prior to the Annual ASAPS Conference.
The use of Acellular Dermal Matrix and Scaffolds in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
In Breast reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and especially in revisional surgery, Acellular Dermal Matrix and scaffolds have enabled us to manage patients that have been difficult in the past. With implant based reconstruction, ADM has helped make this more achievable. As the use and availability of ADM and scaffolds is growing, we need to understand how to use these products, the benefits and their pitfalls.
This symposium has brought together a number of speakers, both international and local who have a varied experience using ADM and scaffolds in the breast. You should be able to educate yourself about the indications and the use of ADM and scaffolds and the risks in various types of breast reconstructive cosmetic and revision surgery. This symposium will show typical as well as many difficult and challenging cases. The guests include, Edward Chang, Onelio Garcia Jr and William Adams Jr, all from USA and a full array of local talent.
